The origin of our name is the Isle of Skye in Scotland where the owner, Jenn MacGregor's family hails from. It's an ode to Jenn's great grandmother, Ella MacKinnon who started her own cosmetics business after her husband, Jenn's great grandfather, Robert MacKinnon lost his fortune. Jenn's great grandmother was a pioneer in a time when it wasn't common for a woman to work, let alone run a business.  

It's a legacy Jenn is proud to carry on.
